Alpha Seven Energy and our investor partners around the globe have accomplished several milestones this year, one of the most significant being our Seminole project achieving oil production in July. While MXP Operating is diligently conducting Lois 1 well (Phase IV) preparations and simultaneously preparing to stimulate the ASE 1, our operating arm, ASE Operations, has commenced drilling operations (of a horizontal well) on the Mesa Vista Ranch in Texas.
As many of our investor partners are aware, ASE acquired drilling rights on the Mesa Vista Ranch in early 2020, a sprawling and massive 23,958 net acre lease in Roberts County, Texas, belonging to the estate of the late oil tycoon and billionaire, T. Boone Pickens. This famous ranch currently holds 47 wells that are still reporting production, with oil production averaging approximately 361 bopd.
In light of these facts, ASE is proud to announce our latest project "ASE Mesa Vista Phase 1 LP." As current partners, we would like to extend the First Right of Acceptance to secure a position in this project before it becomes available to outside investment. We would like to emphasize that this project will be operated by a separate operating company and that Seminole County operations should not be impacted.
