LOIS 1 WELL UPDATE
As outlined in previous portals, we made an executive decision to pause the completion process on the Lois 1 well due to the lack of commercial success on the ASE 1 and ASE 4 wells.
Recent Developments: Over the last couple of weeks, we spent considerable time and resources replacing the downhole pump on the ASE 1 well. Unfortunately, we were not able to achieve consistent oil and gas production for more than 24 hours.
Positive News - Lois Anne #1 Success: The very positive news is that we successfully drilled the Lois Anne #1 well, which has confirmed 6 hydrocarbon-rich and productive pay zones. This exceptional data will be invaluable in helping us determine the best course of action to complete the Lois 1 well and maximize its production potential.
Technical Analysis in Progress: Our geologist, John Dowds, is currently creating detailed cross-sections for all wells drilled in the ASE Oddfellows oilfield. This comprehensive analysis will provide us with a better understanding of which formations we should target first and the optimal completion strategy for the Lois 1 well.
Next Steps: We will provide a more detailed update next month, including specific details on the completion plan for the Lois Anne #1 well and how this data will inform our approach to the Lois 1 well.
