ASE 4 WELL
Status: Shut-in, Conversion Under Review
The open application to convert the ASE 4 to a saltwater disposal well remains on file, that plan has been placed on pause for now. We are currently exploring the completion of the previously drilled but uncompleted Lois #1, located in the NE/4 SE/4 of Section 1, to the south of the ASE 4 and the Oddfellows lease, as the disposal well for the field.
If the Lois #1 can be completed as a disposal well, the ASE 4 would be able to offload its water and be retested in the Hunton formation, which previously contributed gas alongside a substantial volume of water. This would open the potential for the ASE 4 to produce gas, and potentially commerical quantities of oil.
