The ASE 1 production tests have been completed and we are currently producing and selling natural gas to Enerfin. Once the pressure of this well has been reduced, we will look to continue and increase oil production.
We have received the ASE 2 water analysis results from the laboratory. The results clearly showed that the water is not coming from the formation, which is excellent news. We will ascertain the source of the water, then implement corrective action so as to maximize oil and gas production while minimizing other fluid entry into the well bore.
One of our field operators stated that there is a huge amount of energy beneath the ground, hence the high amounts of pressure we are experiencing. As mentioned in past portal updates, the amount of hydrocarbons present is vastly larger than estimated and we will continue to finely tune each well to optimize their oil & gas production.
