Phase 2 (ASE 18 1H)

As all Phase 2 investors are aware, the next well in line to be drilled at the Mesa Vista Ranch is the ASE18#1H. Once Phase 1 has been completed we can then move directly onto the commencement of the Phase 2 project. We thought investors would appreciate following the progress of the ASE 5#1H well (Phase 1) as we are extremely close to completing the drilling process. Please read below for more information.
Since the previous Phase 1 portal update, our crew has run in the hole and set the squeeze packer at 8,200 ft, reset the packer to 8,100 ft and squeezed 100 sacks of 15.8 ppg cement. They are now waiting on the cement to set and are working with our directional company on the revised path to better suit the rotary, steerable directional tools.
As of the 12th of May, our drilling crew picked up a rock bit and 3-1/2" drill pipe and is going in the hole to dress the cement squeeze.The tools will be shipped to the rig on Wednesday and we will begin picking up the tools and starting the horizontal well path. This process will prepare the ASE 5#1H well for the horizontal tools so we do not have excess cement plugging the tools. The directional tools have left APS Directional's HQ in Houston and are expected to be on-site soon. Once both directional tools have been delivered we will make our final preparations, trip in the hole followed by drilling the horizontal section of the wellbore.
Our US-based team is planning on visiting the Mesa Vista Ranch next week to capture all of the action, as we undertake the final part of the drilling process.
