Valued Partners,

This is the latest update for Phase 1:

After a few technical challenges our team finished the directional/horizontal well path in the 6-1/4” hole section to the projected landing point and have picked up the rotary steerable tools. Drilling in the 6-1/4” hole will continue until we have reached the 5,000 ft horizontal wellbore which would put us midway into the Granite Wash “G Bench” target formation.

Daily drilling fluids engineering continued with 24-hour on-site supervision. Lost circulation preventative material and chemicals are being added to maintain optimum fluid properties and avoid lost circulation.

The horizontal drilling plan was fine-tuned and quality-control checked with the latest geologic maps and final landing point based on the GR log response vs the Boone 5-1V logs. We will “geo-steer” the horizontal leg with real-time gamma ray logs fed via a satellite link to the G&G experts who will "guide" the directional drillers for path corrections. Wayne Beninger (our Geologist) will be accompanying Deane Pierce (Petroleum Engineer) and will be supervising this process.

Our operations team has deployed the rotary steerable tools and we are currently progressing at an average of 60 ft per hour. Once we have drilled the horizontal leg, we will set a 4-1/2” production casing and cement it into position. When the cement is fully cured, we will perforate the various stages to prepare the well for a hydraulic fracturing process.
