Valued Partners,
Since our last portal update, our operational team at the ASE 5#1H location has successfully overcome a fairly common issue during the drilling process. At approximately 5,000 ft the drill bit was stuck in the hole and we conducted the standard procedure to resolve the issue. The solution was to divert (or what is commonly known as sidetrack) the well bore. We are currently at a depth of approximately 5,244 ft and are making significant progress. The rate at which we are drilling is exceeding expectations.
Deane Pierce, our Petroleum Engineer, has stated that he is pleased with the progress and has provided a detailed drilling report. Click the link below for access.
ASE 5 1H Drilling Report
As stated in the September 3rd portal update, all investors were to have access to Pason and the live feed cameras. Unfortunately, there have been some delays in providing these services due to multiple factors. Regarding the live cameras, we are currently seeking solutions to resolve the low bandwidth issues due to the remote location of the well. Every investor should have now received an email from Pason, providing your username and password to monitor the drilling activity beneath the ground.
Once you log-in, you should see the "Well Home" page, then simply click on the "Pason Live" button.
You will then be taken to the live drilling page, which will show you the current hole and bit depth. Please note, there will be times which the bit depth differs from the hole depth, this can occur multiple times through the drilling procedure, as the drilling bit is replaced.
