Dear Valued Partners,
We are pleased to share the latest progress on the Cherokee 2-9 well. Our on-site team has been diligently monitoring the well, and their ongoing observations further reinforce our growing excitement about its performance.
Over the past week, the Cherokee 2-9 well has been steadily flowing up the tubing, a sight we wanted to capture and showcase. On Sunday, we opened the well to the atmosphere, allowing us to record the powerful energy emanating from this well. The video below presents the well flowing from the 1" bleeder valve side of the wellhead, where we collect oil samples.
The current pumping rate stands at 6 ¾ strokes per minute, maintaining a constant pressure of 145 psi. We are delighted to inform you that all load water has been successfully removed, resulting in an increased oil cut from 20% to now exceeding 35%. Anticipating a continued daily rise in oil production, we are carefully regulating the well's output to safeguard the formation and strive for the highest Estimated Ultimate Recovery (EUR) of hydrocarbons achievable. Our overarching objective is to optimize this well, along with all other Cherokee wells, for sustained, long-term production.
In exciting news, arrangements are underway to pick up our first load of oil this week, marking a significant milestone in the Cherokee project's development. Looking ahead, we are enthusiastic to commence the Cherokee 3-9 well road and pad construction (phase 2) in the coming weeks.
Chris Hemsworth and Dylan Knight, Co-Founders of Alpha Seven Energy, are planning a site inspection later this week. During this visit, they will capture the live action, and we intend to share these raw, yet immersive videos through this portal.
Warmest regards,
The Alpha Seven Energy Team
