Dear Investor Partners,
We are delighted to provide you with an update regarding our Cherokee Phase 1 drilling operation. Despite challenging weather conditions over the weekend and at the start of the week, we are pleased to inform you that the weather has improved and drilling commenced on Monday evening (8:20 PM) after making the necessary preparations. The rat hole has been drilled and the surface casing has been cemented in-place and cured.
We did anticipate that the entire drilling procedure would be completed within approximately 11 days, yet based on our current progress the well should be drilled to a target depth (TD) of 3,450 ft on Saturday. Throughout this process we will be collecting sample cuttings of the RedFork formation, which will provide valuable information about the composition of the well. Additionally, once we reach the TD, we will proceed with logging the well to gather further insights and data.
We would like to thank Chris Hemsworth (CEO & Co-founder) and Dylan Knight (Co-founder) for making the journey (through torrential rainfall in the early hours) from Dallas to Payne County to conduct a comprehensive site inspection. They personally documented the progress and activities, ensuring that all investors have access to a first-hand account of the operations. These videos and future footage will be made available through our Investor Portal, allowing you to stay engaged and informed throughout the entire process.
Moreover, we are committed to keeping you well-informed at every stage of the drilling, completion, and production phases. Bob Pound, who heads our drilling team, will provide regular video updates and share photos to give you a closer look at the operations on-site. Our Geologist, Robert (Bob) F. Pfannenstiel, will also provide progress reports, some of which will offer valuable geological insights and analysis. Please note all dates are in the US format (month/day/year).
Furthermore, we are pleased to inform you that the ASE team will be present on location for every major milestone achieved. The next one is Saturday where we anticipate to be logging the well.We will continue to keep you informed about the project's progress, achievements, and any significant developments through our Investor Portal.
